Milano ADHD and Neurodiversity Empowerment was created to close the huge and obvious gap in education, support and advocacy for neurodivergent individuals and their families. So we decided to put our expertise together and formulate a list of services that will do just that!

Hello, I’m Honor – founder, director, and course content supervisor here at Milano ADHD and Neurodiversity Empowerment. I’m so glad you’ve found us.
This work is deeply personal for me. I’m neurodivergent myself, with diagnoses of ADHD and dyspraxia, as well as hypermobility and fibromyalgia. I live in a beautifully neurodivergent household, and I’ve spent many years advocating for my (now adult) children as they’ve navigated their own paths through a world not always designed with us in mind. That lived experience – alongside my academic background – fuels everything I do.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Stirling and a Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities Psychology from Liverpool University. I’ve also studied Human Genetics and Health Issues with the Open University, which added even more depth to my understanding of the complex interplay between health, identity, and neurodiversity.
Professionally, my roots lie in both the mental health charity sector and primary education. Those roles shaped my approach to advocacy: always compassionate, always person-centered, and always focused on empowerment. Whether I’m helping someone understand their rights, navigate accessibility systems, or simply feel seen and heard – I bring that same grounded, warm approach.
One area I’m particularly passionate about is owner-training assistance dogs. For the past three years, I’ve been training my own assistance dogs and supporting others to do the same. Educating people and businesses on the legal rights of assistance dog teams, as well as how to interact respectfully with them, has become a real calling for me.
I also work closely with individuals who need support compiling evidence or completing important paperwork – for things like PIP, DLA, Access Cards, and other accessibility needs. These processes can be overwhelming and exhausting, and I believe nobody should have to face them alone.
At Milano ADHD and Neurodiversity Empowerment, everything we do is shaped by real experience and deep empathy. I know how isolating it can be to feel misunderstood – and I also know the power of community, knowledge, and the right support.
If you’re looking for someone who truly understands what it’s like to live life through a neurodivergent lens – and who will stand with you, advocate for you, and help you build the confidence to advocate for yourself – you’re in the right place.

Hi, I’m Francesca—founder, director, and practicing consultant here at Milano ADHD and Neurodiversity Empowerment Ltd. I’m a proudly neurodivergent person with ADHD, dyslexia, hypermobility, and POTS, and I’ve lived alongside other neurodivergent people my entire life. Advocacy isn’t just a career for me—it’s something I’ve been doing since I was 10 years old.
My work is driven by the overwhelming number of families and individuals who are left behind due to a lack of accessible, accurate information. I’ve seen first-hand how misinformation—or no information at all—can make the world an incredibly inaccessible place for neurodivergent people. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to change that.
I provide neurodiversity training to sports clubs, workplaces, and educational settings, and I also offer 1:1 support and advocacy for neurodivergent people and their families. Whether it’s helping someone navigate diagnosis, working with a school to implement better support, or equipping teams to create inclusive environments—I tailor everything to the specific needs of the people I work with.
I went through the mainstream education system with a misdiagnosis, and it was an uphill battle to get any recognition or support. I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until adulthood, and that discovery changed everything for me—it gave me understanding, tools, and validation I’d never had before. That experience fuels my commitment to making sure others don’t have to fight as hard to be understood.
I hold a diploma in Special Educational Needs education and studied psychology at A-Level. I’ve worked as a consultant under another association for several years, attended countless talks, seminars, and lectures, and am constantly engaging in continued professional development—because I love learning, and I want to bring the very best support to every client I work with.
Our consultancy is different. We’re fully inclusive, trauma-informed, intersectional, and always centered around the unique needs of the individual. Our 1:1 and advocacy services are genuinely affordable, and we offer some types of support that are hard to find elsewhere. Everything we do is rooted in a simple goal: to make life better and more accessible for the people we serve.

Hello, I'm Cedric.
I know it seems a little bit crazy that I'm a dog with a human job! But this is kind of my second job, my first job is to assist the humans I live with. I do mitigating tasks and when I think one of them has a high heart rate I make them sit down! I am so good and clever at my first job that I accidently fell into this one too.
So I have been put in charge of logistics because sometimes they need me to come with them and make sure everything is under control.
Hi, I'm Honey.
I'm training to be a super good assistance girl! I love my job and I'm a super kind and friendly dog, but sometimes I can be a little bit cheeky about treatos and pinch them from my humans.
Apparently I was headhunted for this job because my humans think it's really important to teach everyone how to behave around assistance

Apparently I was headhunted for this job because my humans think it's really important to teach everyone how to behave around assistance dogs, and I agree!
So you might see me on some of the assistance dog training courses, so I can help in teaching you how to behave when you see an assistance dog. It's very helpful to assistance dog and handler teams when other people are informed!
